Corporate Counsel
Rob became corporate counsel for Spinner Technologies in 2002. He joined the Patent Foundation in 2000. Previously, Rob had a ten year career in the engineering field before entering patent law. Rob was a former U.S. Patent Examiner at the USPTO. In addition, Rob was in both private practice and served as in-house corporate counsel before arriving at the Patent Foundation.
Rob's primary responsibility at the Patent Foundation includes drafting and prosecuting patents in the engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, chemical and material science. Additionally, Rob works in the areas of computer science and medical devices. Rob also serves as General Counsel for the Patent Foundation and Spinner Technologies.
